The Wat on
the right bank of the Wang River is considered one of Thailand's
best examples of Burmese-style temple architecture. It
has an impressive Chedi on a rectangular base with a round spire
topped with gilded bronze plaques. A Burmese-style chapel
topped by a multi-tiered roof stands against it. The chapel probably
dates from the late 18th century and contains a Burmese style
Buddha image with particularly interesting decorations.
