Built in
the reign of King Narai The Great in 1666, this building might
have been the royal chapel in which a principal Buddha Image named
"Phra Chao Hao" had once been placed. When King Narai was seriously
ill, Phra Phet Racha called a meeting of noblemen and seized power
from the King in this building.
