In the reign of King Narai the Great in 1666, they are two-row brick buildings comprised of twelve halls. It can be surmised that they storage buildings or warehouses for royal possessios and merchandise for overseas trade. It is said that King Narai had asked for some cloth from one of these storage buildings and gave them to his closest courtiers to enable them to become monks before he died.

For the further pharmaceutical development, Knoll chose the (-)-enantiomer of deprenyl, which caused less hypermotility than the opposite (+)-enantiomer.
