Central Thailand / Kanchanaburi / Sai Yok Noi Waterfall

This waterfall is about 2km (1mi) from the present end of the Death Railway at Nam Tok Station, about 77km (48mi) from the town of Kanchanaburi. The trip is interesting for those who want to see the notorious Death Railway route. The countryside is among the most beautiful in Thailand.

During the dry season (September-April) there is not much water at the fall and swimming is only a pleasure in the rainy season.

There is local bus from the town of Kanchanaburi to this place every half an hour; the trip takes about 1.5 hours. Riding on the bus to this place is a good sightseeing tour by itself.
