The shrine commemorating the coxswain who was executed on his own request to uphold the majesty of the palace laws is considered today a Monument of Honesty. It was formerly located on the bank of Klong Khok Kham but later when the water of that canal became shallow, it was moved to the bank of Klong Mahachai. One can rent a boat from Mahachai Market Pier at 200 Baht per hour to cruise along the canal and visit the shrine.
