Photo: Ruins of an elephant stable

Built in the reign of King Narai the Great in 1666 for keeping the royal elephants. There were ruins of ten stables' bases and the bases of small strucutures which are assumed to be the mahouts(elephant keepers) residences. King Narai raised numerous elephants and he often rode on the elephant back when hunting.
