The A4 from Colombo via Avis savella. Distance is 100 kms. Or you can take the A2 down the coast till Panadura (28 kms) and turn left to take the A8 till Ratnapura (68 kin).
From Nuwara
Eliya the A7 takes you to Avissawella (120 kms) thereafter the
A4 up to Ratnapura (42 kin). Ratnapura is also accessible from
Galle, Matara and Hambantota on the south coast via A class roads.
