Chinaman Scholar’s Gallery

This is a faithful recreation of the home of a Chinese scholar of the 1920s and 1930s, complete with kitchen, bedroom, dining and living areas. The Gallery houses furniture, porcelain, musical instruments and photographs from the period. Allow one hour

Opening hours: 9am to 4pm daily.

Admission: S$4 adults, S$2 children (below 12 years).

Getting there: Take the MRT to Outram (W2), then start walking towards Chinatown; landmarks to look out for are the Spices Department Store and the Sri Mariamman Hindi temple. Or take SBS bus 174 ,190, 124 from Orchard Road.
