Religion

The official religion of Qatar is Islam, and the vast majority of Qataris are Sunni Moslems. The country adopted Islam without any controversy in the 7th century and has remained devout to the faith ever since.

The Philippines were then probably the first country in Asia were the situation was then tightened rather quickly, with the "moral revolution" that followed the overthrow of President Marcos and the installation of President Cory Aquino.
