Quezon is the particular area of the Philippines first settled by man. It has a branch of the National Museum which exhibits stuffed examples of wildlife, collections of, insect and handicraft of the native tribes.

Tabon Caves - Boats to the caves at Lipuun Point can be chartered in Quezon (30 min). The cave complex consists of about 200 caves but only few are for sightseeing. Prehistoric finds like Stone Age skeletons and simple tools prove the settling there of man some 30,500 years ago. It is believed that the caves have served as burial sites.
