Hidden Valley near Alaminos, Laguna.

This private resort is another spa which gets its water from numerous hidden hot springs. The resort also offers native cottages for rent, a restaurant, and a soda water swimming pool. Entrance fee about P 200 (meals incl)

A secluded place where you don't hear phones ringing or loud noises located at Calauan, Laguna just off the road from Alaminos. Only a one and onehalf hour drive from Manila. On a 44 hectare (110acre) expanse teeming with lush tropical flowers (including orchids), and hosts pools of mineral springs and dormant craters. It boasts several swimming pools, hidden waterfalls and a hanging bridge.

Villa Escudero between San Pablo and Tiaong

A coconut plantation, which was further developed into an inland resort with accommodation in luxury cottages, restaurant and museum. Entrance fee P 270/290 (meals incl). An estate coverted into a tourist attraction by the family who have lived there for generations in a self contained community. It is claimed that the Village Super Museum has one of the countries largest collections of Spanish, Filipino and Chinese treasures. There is a swimming pool or one can tour the village by a water buffalo drawn cart or lunch beneath a waterfall.
