While in Dhulikhel a visit to NamoBuddha, an old Buddhist monastery is recommended. Panauti, a village noted for its temples of magnificant wood carvings is also a must.

Dhulikhel is accessible by road via the Arniko highway, the same road that leads to the border with Tibet. It is an excellent spot for people who want ot get away from bustling city-life.
