Pokhara
has many beautiful lakes that are ideal location for boating.
These lakes are also being utilised for commercial fishing. The
most famous among them is the Phewa Lake. It is famous for its
backdrop of the Annapurna range. Pkhara is populated with the
Thakali people who are reputed for their food and hospitality.
Besides these Pokhara has many caves. The most famous is the Mahendra
cave. Now Pokhara also boasts of two golf courses. The reputed
Davis falls also lies here. With all these sites to see and with
many picterique hotels this is the place to be when on a holiday.
