Most characters that are spoken 'zheng' contain as sound-determining element either the character 正 or the character 争.

正 = upright (of a character)

正在 = zheng(4)zai(4) = in the process of (doing something)

我正在过来. = Wo(3) zheng(4)zai(4) guo(4) lai(2). = I am coming. (I am on the way.)

我正在洗澡. = Wo(3) zheng(4)zai(4) xi(3) zao(3). = I am taking a bath. (I am in the bathroom.)
