SHUAI
There are only about six characters that are pronounced
'shuai', and for many, it isn't even the main pronunciation. Only two meanings
are important.
shuai(1)
摔 = to fall down, to tumble
The more common two-character expression is:
摔倒 = shuai(1)dao(3) =
to fall down
This is only used for people.
倒 = dao(3) = to fall
Not to be confused with:
到 = dao(4) = to arrive
If things fall down, the proper
word / expression is:
掉 = diao(4) = to fall down
Or:
掉下去 = diao(4) xia(4) qu(4) = to fall down

帅 = handsome
A combination of the side knife character and the towel
character.
This is the appropriate word for good looks in men.
Together with the noun that usually follows it, we get:
帅哥 = shuai(4) ge(1) = handsome
older brother
哥 is an endearing designation
for an elder male acquaintance
