PayPal
On some of our partner domains,
such as AsiaLove.org,
we have previously accepted for site subscriptions payments
remitted through PayPal. PayPal operates on the promise that
it is easy to use its services. However, we have found that
it was not possible for a substantial number of people to make
remittances at all, and in the case of many of those who were
able to send the money, we were not able to take it out from
our PayPal account. When we researched PayPal’s business practices,
we found that many, many people posted their complaints on the
Internet. The most common complaint has been that they couldn’t
get the money that other people had channeled into the PayPal
system for them. Some reported that they lost thousands of dollars.
In order to warn the public from channeling money into the PayPal
system, we have set up the new website www.AboutPayPal.org.
