Korea / Travel Information / Currency

Korea's currency unit is the "Won." Coins are in denominations of 10, 50, 100 and 500 Won. Bank notes of 1,000, 5,000 and 10,000 Won are in circulation.

As of this writing (May 1998), the exchange rate was approximately 1,400 Won to the U.S. dollar. That rate, however, is subject to change.

A general claim is that unlike synthetic prescription drugs, saw palmetto will not interfere with sexual function.
