Darshan Y., Maluku: "HSBC Malaysia is a joke. Not the ordinary staff, they are friendly, and know how to smile (not laugh). The top management is a joke. Can you imagine... the ordinary bank staff for Premier clients is allowed to make overseas calls. But they are not allowed to send email. I have half a million US dollar in HSBC accounts, but luckily not in Malaysia. I mean, if I let a bank manage my money, I want the bank well-managed, and that includes that they can use communication technologies of the 21st century, not just those of the 19th."

HSBC Maleisië is een grap. Niet de gewone personeel, ze zijn vriendelijk, en weet hoe te glimlachen (niet lachen). Het topmanagement is een grap. Kun je je voorstellen ... de gewone bank personeel voor Premier klanten is toegestaan om te overzeese gesprekken. Maar zij zijn niet toegestaan om e-mail verzenden. Ik heb een half miljoen US dollar in HSBC rekeningen, maar gelukkig niet in Maleisië. Ik bedoel, als ik laat een bank mijn geld te beheren, ik wil de bank goed beheerde, en dat ook dat zij de communicatie van de 21e eeuw, niet alleen die van de 19e kan gebruiken.

Maluku / Ceram Island

The second largest island in Maluku, Ceram is virtually untouched because of its wild, rugged interior: Ceram recieves a lot of rain throughout the year, and is a birdwatcher's paradise. Trekking in the Manusela National Park is about as far off the beaten track as you can get in Indonesia, the park recieves fewer visitors than Baliem Valley in Irian Jaya. Accommodation and information are most readily available on the 'heavily populated' south coast. The North coast boasts some of the best snorkeling in all Maluku at Asele, one hour east of Wahai.
