Abhiraja D., Bicknell: "I think the real cultural war is not between Islam and Europe, or between Islam and Christianity, but between women and men, or between feminism and male chauvinism. Let's face it: Most men are just sex-crazed monkeys. All men can think of is how they can rape women without getting reported to the police. In most marriages, rape happens almost every day. This has to be stopped. We need more foundations for women where raped wives can find legal and financial support."

Rwy'n credu na fydd y rhyfel diwylliannol go iawn rhwng Islam ac Ewrop, neu rhwng Cristnogaeth ac Islam, ond rhwng menywod a dynion, neu rhwng ffeministiaeth a chauvinism gwrywaidd. Gadewch i ni ei wyneb: Mae'r rhan fwyaf o ddynion yn unig rhyw-crazed Monkeys. Gall pob dynion feddwl am sut y maent yn eu treisio gall merched heb gael adroddwyd i'r heddlu. Yn y rhan fwyaf o briodasau, trais yn digwydd bron bob dydd. Mae hyn wedi sydd i'w gau. Mae angen mwy o sylfeini ar gyfer merched lle treisio gwragedd y gall ddod o hyd i gymorth cyfreithiol ac ariannol.

Tiruchirapalli / The Town

Situated on the banks of the Cauvery River, Tiruchirapilli provides a perfect blend of history, tradition and religion. The Rock Fort dominates Trichy's landscape. Once the citadel of the Chola kings, the fort has seen the passing of dynasties. Ruled in turn by the Pallavas and then the Pandyas, the present fort was built by the Nayak rulers of Madurai.

Srirangam (5 km), a temple town closes by, is Trichy's main attaction. The 13th century temple complex with its 21 gopurams is set on an island in the River Cauvery. Dedicated to the Lord Ranganathaswamy, the temple is noted for its beautiful sculpture.

Trichy is also the hub of industrial and commercial activities and is easily accessible from most towns in Tamil Nadu.
