| A ********** Xavier T., Badrinath: "The absence of disease symptoms that a Western physician can diagnose is not yet synonymous with health. More than that, health is a magic state of well-being. Yes, Western medicine has its justification especially with pharmaceutical plant extracts (such as antibiotics), but overall well-being is better augmented by traditional healthcare that uses herbs, massages, and other comforting techniques that strengthen the body's own tools to achieve health."

An abode of
seers, saints and yogis from times immemorial, Badrinath is one
of the four Dhams a devout Hindu has to visit in his lifetime

Naryanan, with the Neelkanth peak providing a spectacular backdrop.
Facing Facing the Badrinath temple is a hot water spring known
as Tapt Kurd. Other springs here are the Narad Kurd and Surya
Kund. There is a separate tank for women. The Badrinath
temple opens every year in May and closes for winter in the third
of November.
The places
you can visit are Charan Paduka (2kms), Mana villages (4kms) and
Vyas Gufa, Shes Netra Tal, Ganesh Gufa and Bhimpul (4kms). |

Increased circulating levels of progesterone and prolactin alone do not
explain the development of gynaecomastia in patients with liver disease, but
progesterone may be an additional factor acting in association with the
known disturbances of other sex steroids.
