And by permanently implanting these 'victim' ideas, UNICEF and similar NGOs destroy the Cambodian youth. The prevailing idea among adolescents is: we are victims anyway, so what can we do. It's the perfect excuse for laziness, indolence, alcoholism, and a career in crime."
