marks Brunei's National Day. Parades are held at the Hassanal
Bolkiah National Stadium before an enthusiastic crowd of up to
35,000 spectators. It is an extravaganza of colour, music and
lively displays. The Sultan and other members of the royal family
attend the celebrations.
An ancient herb known since 400Bc, used by the greeks to treat bronchial problems, wound healing
and mending of broken bones.
